Instructions:

STEP 1:
Edit your hosts file.

Copy and paste the 6 lines which follow into your hosts file:
# added the two lines below for xsitepro2
127.0.0.1 licensing.intellimon.com
127.0.0.1 mailserver.intellimon.com
# added the two lines below for xsitepro2
127.0.0.1 205.234.175.175
127.0.0.1 vip1.G-anycast1.cachefly.net

STEP 2:
Download the XSitePro program from here:
xsitepro.com/download_xsp.html

STEP 3:
Install the XSitePro program by running the exe.

STEP 4:
During installation, say Yes to the Resources Pack

a.
A pop-up appears and asks if you want the latest Resources Pack. Click "yes".

b.
A webpage appears. Click the download link.
(You will be downloading a 262 MB resource exe file)

STEP 5:
Enter the Registration Key

a.
Enter this key manually, don't copy/paste.

Click Unlock. "Application is licenced" should appear.

STEP 6:
Install the Resource Pack

Double-click the resources exe file to run the Install Wizard.
Follow the prompts. This installs the resouces.

STEP 7:
Check Your Installation

a.
From the Start button, choose All Programs and start XSitePro that way.
Reason: Starting from the exe within Windows Explorer will say that you have an invalid key.

b.
Click the button for New Project.
Fill in the fields.
You're just testing, so "Learning to use XSP" or something along those lines is fine for the info you enter.

c.
Click the button for New Website. Fill in fields.

d.
Choose a template.

Success!
You can now build new sites with ease!
